B107 – Small Business Marketing
As an introduction to marketing, this course provides a basic understanding of Canadian and International marketing structures and insights including; an entrepreneurial approach to business, social media marketing, defining and segmenting target markets, using planning and forecasting techniques, promoting products, analyzing costs and benefits of marketing mixes, interpreting market research data, and understanding customers and competitors. This course will invite students to take on the role of small business owners and create a marketing plan.
